Salton Sea
Salton Sea is the place where old people shouldn’t come to die. This town is a financial nightmare with so many neighborhoods and structures abandoned or in complete ruin. We stopped at Bombay beach to check out the neighborhoods that were rotting from the high salt exposure. The smell of dead fish is so overwhelming that it almost made us gag. The trailers and houses that were near the shore had deteriorated from the salt. I have never seen anything like it. This lake is huge; it looks like a small ocean where in some parts you can't see the other side.
