Abandoned Adobe House with Bunker
We found this old adobe abandoned house on the way to the Sears Point Petroglyph Site. The building appeared to be pretty solid even with a cardboard and straw roof. The property even had a fence and gates at one time to keep out the animals. The best part about this property was the discovery of a fallout bunker about 20 yards from the site.

The entrance was through a freezer door into the earth. I attempted to enter the chamber, but the rotted wood ladder didn’t seem fit to climb in, so I opted out. The room appeared to be 6-8 feet deep and I didn’t have ropes to get in or out. I was bummed that I couldn’t go in, but who knows what could have been waiting for me inside.
