Mining Ruins, Wickenburg, Arizona

Old Unida Mine
Stopped and explored the Old Unida Mine Ruins on the way to the Gold Bar Mine and found a half dozen stone house ruins and a good amount of open mines. I would recommend a high clearance vehicle or a 4x4 on this trail.

History:
Discovered 1914. Produced 1929-1976. This group included the Home and Bloo Nelly in 1925. Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting, shearing and igneous dikes. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface and alteration was minor to none.
